On the right panel shows a preview of you 3D model in the active configuration.

You can move the camera to explore your object with the following mouse and keyboard commands:


If you are using a touch pad you can:

  • rotate: click and drag
  • slide/pan: two fingers
  • zoom: pinch


On the top you find controls to setup the environment, background and scale:

  • show/hide environment ( ). Switch between using an image for background or a solid color. The environment affects also the illumination of the object.
  • set environment image (01)
  • open the folder of the environment images (02). If you add environment images be sure they use the RGB color space.
  • set background color (03)
  • set scale of the object (04)
  • see object real-world size (05)

Please note that the object scale is per object, while the other properties are per configuration. In other words you can specify different environment settings per configuration but the object size remains the same.


Setting the environment affects how your object is illuminated. This affects the editor and the Universal Viewer for web browsers. In Augmented Reality mode ambient light and environment is detected and emulated.


In the bottom of the panel you can: 

  • enter thumbnail mode (). See dedicated help page.
  • show/hide gizmo and size grid ()
  • center camera on object ()
