The left-bottom panel is the material editor (01). The middle-top panel is the material library (02) panel. The middle-top panel is the material preview (03) panel.


The material library lists all available materials divided in groups. For each material a card is displayed with preview and material name.

Click the card of the material to select it: once selected the preview panel shows the material preview while the material editor shows its properties.

You can do the following actions:

  • rename a material: double click on the material card on the material library or click  in the material editor
  • delete a material: select the material and press cmd+delete
  • create a new group: click on  and type the group name
  • change group material: drag and drop the material to the new group
  • delete group: a group is deleted when it no longer contains items
  • clone/new material: click  to clone the select material. Use this feature to create new materials


The material editor allows you to inspect the selected material properties and edit them.



The shading model is Physically Based Rendering (PBR).

The material properties are:

  • Opacity
  • Diffuse
  • Metalness
  • Roughness
  • Normal
  • Occlusion
  • Emission


You can set for each property a texture or a color. To set a texture select the image name from the dropdown (04). To set a color select "-- color --" in the texture dropdown and select a color using the color-well (05).

You can open the textures folder using . You can add your textures here.

Metalness and roughness parameters are monochromatic, please use a grayscale color for these properties.


You can set the opacity of the material (06).


Once a material is modified its name becomes red. Two options are now possible:

  • revert: discard changes and go back to last saved material version ()
  • save: accept changes and save the material ()
